Answer» computer starting up slow, i don't know what is on my start up MENU that i can take off. it takes a long time sor me to start up. i have windows xp, a GATEWAY, service pack 2, 640 mg of ram, i asked the gateway TECH and the microsoft tech, as i am also having a problem with IE 7, they told me to just take off the ones i didn't need, kept telling them i didn't know what i needed, even typed them a list of what is on there and they game me the same ANSWER. lol, anyone know what has to be on there.?? thanks for all the help. Why don't you post the list, then we'll know what should be on there. You can download HiJackThis (google it) and get it to make a text document of all the registered startup entries, you may not be aware of all of them.thanks i will do that, will post them soon. |
