I start my computer, the fan turns on but nothing else happens.
I have a Dell Dimension C521 running WINDOWS Vista
Please HELP!
Dory It might help if you give more information or detail.
How old is this computer? Is it new to you? Was it working well before hand? Did you load any programs on it recently? Does it beep when switched on?
Details are relevant. Please add some detail.The computer is 2 yrs old.
This occurence is totally new. It worked well before hand and I have not loaded any programs recently, just upgraded an existing Simply Accouinting PROGRAM from 2008 version to 2009. It does not beep when I switch on.
A few times when booting up, a message "Diskette drive o seek failure". I do not even have a diskette drive.Option was to choose F1 to continue or F2, I presume that's to go to BIOS. I went to F1. All went well after that, just this morning when I went to turn on the computer.
