Answer» For the past few days my computer will just CRASH and restart on me or crash and stay black with the tower still on. I don't get the blue screen LIKE some people do and when it turns on again it says WINDOWS has just recovered from a serious error. The files it says were affected are: C:\docume~1\joey\locals~1\temp\werf469.dir00\mini062608-02.dmp C:\docume~Joey\locals~1\temp\werf469.dir00\sysdata.xml When I tried to report the error it said the PROBLEM was a drive error and could not be fixed. I've tried everything I know so if someone knows anything about this please help.Welcome to the CH forums. Very difficult to advise you due to lack of info - please read this.. However you can test your hard drive with the manufacturer's diagnostic tool AVAILABLE from the drive manufacturer's site.
