Solve : Computer suddenly goes off?

Answer»

I am using Window XP, SP2. Today while I was working the computer suddenly goes off and reboot. It happens three times today. Will this affects the computer and how can I stop it from happening again. What are you doing when it reboots?

Any Errors? It went off then started by itself. Oh then appear a blue screen saying its dumping memory etc then continue on to the logon partCan you remember/find out the EXACT BSOD MESSAGE (at LEAST the top line)

Also, does this happen in SAFE Mode?Sorry I can't get what you mean.. you mean when the blue screen appears or the black screen?
Oh.. I haven't tried the safe mode it goes off and then restarted so I carry on with my workQuote

Sorry I can't get what you mean.. you mean when the blue screen appears or the black screen?
The message on the Blue Screen.

Also, one more question.
During the reboots, are you doing anything in particular?Oh I didn't get the message on the blue screen.

No. I just wait until the logon screen appears. Why, should I do anything?I meant before it reboots. What prompted the Blue Screen?I don't remember but I'l let you know if it'l happen again. Well, it happened this morning. The words that appears

" Checking of your file system"
"One of your hard disk needed to be check for consistancy"

Those are the words that appeared on the blue screenI guess this message came up when you started the computer?
Did you let it check? As I said before.. I just waited until I get to the logon PART. I didn't do anything just waited. Quote from: tane on July 08, 2008, 07:28:25 PM
