ok heres my problem i have a OPERATING systems timeline report due in a few days and i cant find very much info to answer the 5 questions for each of the 11 operating systems i need so ill write the answers down and someone please post a answer.

on what type of COMPUTER does the OS run on?

what type of interface does the OS provide?

the OS codename used while it was being created?

and what date was the OS released?

i need these questions answered about Windows NT, windows 2000, windows XP, windows 95, windows 98 and windows ME ok if anyone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

ya thx this helped some but not as much as i needed anyone else know the answers?We really don't do homework here asbp92 especially, if I read it correctly, requires 55 answers. no only 30 for these OS come on people ive looked all over the web and cant find these stuff this is my last resort Wow, all I can say is you need to improve your research skills and, it seems, your ability to think logically. For example, every OS you've mentioned is a Microsoft OS. Do you not know this?

And, all those OS will run on a PERSONAL computer, also called a micro-computer.

What type of interface? Would that not be GUI (Graphical User Interface) for all of them?

Re: codename and date of release, you surely ought to be ABLE to find this info. Hint for Windows 95: try search phrase - release date for Windows 95. I can tell you what people called WinME after it came out... google it
