Answer» I have a Compaq Presario S4300NX. I went to RESTART it this morning and it won't start-up. It gets to the screen where is says "Compaq Presario" and his F1 for set-up and F10 for system restore and it just locks up. It won't continue the start-up and no key on the keyboard will RESPOND. We RECENTLY bought a new hard drive so I'm really HOPING this is not the problem. Any THOUGHTS? Thanks!If you bought a new hard drive recently, take a look at all your jumper settings for the drive and make sure the cables are in securely first. "We recently bought a new hard drive..."
