Alright so I'm running Windows XP and everything was fine except suddenly it just stopped responding. Yea it just sounds like it froze but it's a little more complicated. When I start up my computer everything RUNS smoothly but the moment I try to access the Start Menu, any of my programs or even click the mouse everything just freezes COMPLETELY. The computer still works in Safe Mode and I did run some scans in Safe Mode but no viruses were found. Does anyone know what's wrong?In safe mode choose Boot with the last known good configuration.

Run SFC /scannow

shut down and unplug from wall and wait 30 seconds. Plug back in and reboot. ( will reset factory defaults )Well I know that rebooting with the last known good configuration doesn't work, I've TRIED it already. Could you explain how to do the other two?
