If these updates are windows updates, do them manually. When you start up the windows update page, under settings, choose NEVER. Windows won't like this though.Net .4 Framework updates? I think I'm gonna have to get in touch with the manufacturer because the laptop won't do them and I think somehow something got wiped from the hardware and now the laptop won't work like it should. It sounds like you're doing windows updates. Try this Do one update at a time on AC power with your battery plugged in. If for some reason, that one update fails then you'll get an error code and you can try to reset the windows update wizard. Microsoft has a tool that you can use to do this.
