Solve : control panel freeze?????

Answer»

whenever i go to my control panel my toolbar resets. its as if i restared my computer, but all my windows stay open, and my programs run. i hope its not a virus.... i even tried getting ot my control panel from winows explorer and even go through a search to GET to it. same thing happens, im trying to defragment. is there a command i can type in for that? You have much bigger problems than fragmentation. Do you have a legitimate copy of Windows to reinstall with? have you tried the usual spyware/adware/virus scanners recommended here up to date and in use?yea im scanning w/ a virus program which was recommended on this site from microsoft RIGHT now, and it has FOUND its fair share of trojans and spywareMicrosoft recommends no virus scanners.

Need to use AdAware SE, SpyBot SD and SpywareBlaster plus a good anti-virus program, such as AVG.
