Answer» I hope I'm posting this in the right part of the forum. None of the other topics seemed to fit.
Anyway, my computer is a lenovo B570 that RUNS Windows 7. I just got it this past Christmas, so it's brand new. Lately, my computer doesn't want to turn on. It doesn't happen EVERY time I start up, but it happens rather often. The computer will boot fine, until it gets to the log-in screen. Then it will say 'Please Wait...' and freeze right there. I tried WAITING it out, but it never continues. It DOES boot in safe MODE, however.
Last night was one of those nights where it decided not to work. Specifically, I had just turned it off, and my MOM wanted to use it. It had been about five minutes since I shut it down, but I tried turning it back on. And...it froze. Multiple times.
But, on to the newest development, when I got up this morning, it booted fine. However...there's a new icon on the toolbar. It's a document icon with a red check on the side of it. It appears next to the language bar, because I've switched to a Japanese locale. When I mouse over, it says 'Correction', but clicking on it does absolutely nothing and right clicking only gives me toolbar options.
So I'm asking two questions: What is the 'correction' icon for, and why won't my computer start sometimes?
I appreciate any help.

I don't get a picture of this icon. Can you post a screenshot? Hit Print screen( Prt Scr) and open Windows paint or download Paint.NET v.3.5.10. Install and run program. GO to Edit and Paste the image then save to your desktop. Upload the file here - http://imgur.com/ - and copy/paste BBCode (message boards and forums).
