Solve : Corrupted Windows Application Icon Files?

I have Microsoft Windows XP Professional 2002
and standard Microsoft Word 11 2003 in my personal computer.
Many of the windows application icon files are corrupt. 
Those corrupted icon files are bad.  What should I do about
this problem now?

Try deleting iconcache.db in your profile folder. It is a hidden file so you will have to have hidden files showing. Log off or reboot after deleting. Windows should REBUILD the file.Hello, 2k_dummy,

in my profile folder.  This file is also corrupt.  What

To delete the file, I could not find it in my personal
computer.  For example, windows application icons
are picture files like the tiny IMAGES on the desktop

My answer to your question about this is that the
the windows application icons are no long pictures
ANYMORE now.  For some reason, they corrupted
from my computer.  How do I get them back?
