Can any one tell how to get rid of the folowing error on boot up using Windows XP Home Edition This is a new computer.
Error Code is as follows
"Intel CPUuCode loading
Press F1 to RESUME."What processor is this?It is a new Intel Celeron D 2.80 GHz on a Asus P5S800 mobo the error appeared on the first  boot up after loading Windows XP Home RegardsIt's likely that you'll need a BIOS update but try the Asus forums first. Quote

THANKS for your reply have gone to ASUS forum and it seems others have had the same trouble got no answers as yet. RegardsI have fixed the trouble by downloading the CORRECT up date I was given the wrong INFO but all fixed now.  regards
