i got acer laptop, with 300 gb HARD disk without any partion, NTFS formated, i wan creat a partion, i wan one D drive in my computer, i tried till disk management, but couldn't find to add new simple drive after that.. please help me

But you NEED to SHRINK the C: partition if you want to create a D: partition...thanks for reply, what i wan is i got only drive c: i wan seperate drive on same hard disk. as u said i need to shrink my hard disk, would i lost any of my data, will i get any PROBLEM booting windows or any effect on any of programs after shrinking, and how to add partition after shrinking..
