Answer» I wish to create System RECOVERY Media for my new Dell laptop. Dell recommend using one 8GB DVD-R. Can I use TWO 4.7GB DVD-r's for the purpose. Thanks. Thanks. It completely depends on the size of the back-up data. But you should be able to use multiple disks just make sure you label them 1, 2, 3 etc.I don't think the Dell recovery system supports spanning....but i could be wrong. Worst case scenario you'll lose 2 blank DVD's ...so go ahead and try it.
