I hope i did it right. I apologize for my ignorance but i am not sure where the HJT directory is. I changed the name like you asked but i changed it from my list of programs. When i right clickd it after i changed the name, i didn't see an option to move to desktop so i dragged it there. It didn't look right so i took my program on the desktop and changed the name there to.I wasn't clear enough. I wanted you to go to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis folder, and rename HijackThis.exe file, but it doesn't matter, because your HJT log is CLEAN! One, non-important entry we want to clean.... Open HJT, and checkmark this entry: - O2 - BHO: (no name) - {5C8B2A36-3DB1-42A4-A3CB-D426709BBFEB} - (no file) Click "Fix checked". Now... Download, and install CCleaner: http://www.ccleaner.com/download/builds. Get "Slim" version. Read CCleaner instruction here: http://www.jahewi.nl/ccleaner/ccleaner.html, and run CCleaner Let me know, how the computer is doing. Its doing great:) Thanks again for all your help. I am not sure how a site like this exists for free but i sure am glad for it:) Super! BTW...it's not free...the bill is in the mail! ...just kidding...LOL |
