Answer» Yesterday I turned off my computer then this moring I turned it on but the SCREEN was black. So then I checked if every thing was pluged in right and tight and it was. Then the computer screen would go on but as soon as I clicked the screen it would go back to black. But not so black that I cant see a thing. I can see on the screen a little bit. Also I know the screen is messed up and not my computer because I tested the screen out on our famliy computer and it did the same thing. I have a samsung computer screen if you need to know. OH and I am working on digital not anlog if that also helps. I hope I explained it enough for you to help me thanks!Welcome to the forums. So this is a Desktop Monitor, right? If the screen is blank but you can still see a bit if you hold it up to the light, that means the screen is damaged. More specifically, the Screen Inverter is damaged. If you're symptoms are Exactly the same as above (you can still see what is on the screen but it is gone dark), you can either use your Laptop Warranty or Give it to the Computer Store to fix. You don't need to get a new laptop (depending how old it is).
