Solve : degfragmentor problem? |

Answer» For some reason the defragmentor in Windows XP isn't working like it is suppose to... Basically, it is unable to defrag. some of the fragmented files... I ran it twice with the same RESULT. I've never had this PROBLEM before (BTW, XP's defrag utility is actual a scaled down version of Diskeeper) Interesting thanks, will try well the trial version of PerfectDisk worked well... I wonder why Windows Defrag. wasn't up to the task this time..I don't know. For important utilities (and I consider defragmenters important) I always go 3rd PARTY (the built-in utilities are okay, but just not as robust as full, dedicated apps). I've been a PerfectDisk beta tester for years and am a big fan of their products.well thx again SureDisKeeper Lite is still available and FREE all the features except scheduling.... I currently am running Auslogics Defrag...also a Free version...
