Solve : delete a folder?

Answer» i have installed windows 7 in c drive ,where the xp was was installed earlier, after that there is a folder created with the name windows.old i try to delete the folder completly but there is some folders in it which is not deleting .folders are empty but its not going .What's in the folder? Why is it BOTHERING you?I would guess that it's the WINDOWS folder from his XP installation, which is probably taking a CHUNK of his HARD drive space.The windows old folder can be a SUBSTANTIAL SIZE as it contains all the old info from an in place upgrade... Have you tried deleting it in safemode ? ?
