Solve : Deleted VPN client? |
|
Answer» I'm a college student and I really dont know a thing about computers except that the fewer programs you have, the faster the computer goes. So I was deleting game programs and unnecessary things and I ACCIDENTALLY deleted my VPN client!! I have no idea how to FIX this but according to a google search (no idea which site I went to) VPN is something that you need to access the internet in the dorms? I think? I havent restarted my computer yet so I'm pretty sure I'm able to get online until I do restart it, so if anyone could help me figure this out or at least show me where I can reinstall or get my VPN client back that'd be great and I'd be eternally grateful. Really. Please.Have you consisdered a sytem restore to a point prior to the deletion.how do you do that?Is-->This the one you need ?honestly, i have no clue. I think it has to do with Cisco and it had a little yellow lock when i accidentally deleted it. i dont know anything about computers so bear with me. Yes,system restore works. [smiley=thumbsup.gif] Personaly not really a fan of system restore. It works if you've got a basic problem like this. Would never hope to have it restore anything useful though lol. In my experience all it does is make copies of everything . However, it does give you the handy link to undo all of it's evil DEEDS Quote QuoteYes,system restore works. [smiley=thumbsup.gif] So,You dare compare it to Fix-A-Flat ? |
