Solve : deleting browsing history?

Answer»

I use Windows XP. How can I delete all my INTERNET browsing history? I have tried clicking on the Internet Options "Delete Browsing History." It deletes my temporary files but later when I go back to check, I still see a bunch of files still listed. I need to know that no one who CHECKS my computer will see my browsing history! I would recommend you use CCleaner it will take of all your browsing history. Just remember to untick the Yahoo toolbar when you install it.Been hanging out at the adult chat rooms again huh....

The history and the temp files are not the same thing. When you click delete history it clears the history of where you have been.

The web BROWSERS also has a temp folder that holds the images and other files that makes up each web page you have visited.

You will need to clear both the IE temp files and the History by opening the internet options and clicking delete files and delete history at the end of your use of IE. Remember that the temp files are added again as you surf the web.

If you open the internet options and than go to advance you will find a check box NEAR the bottom that says clear IR temp files when browser is closed. That may help you also.
