dell running windows 7 the wifi button on the side will not turn , is there any other way to do this please help?From the Manual, see pic:

Check in the device manager and see if the wifi adapter is still listed. Don't confuse it with the listing for the on-board LAN, that's a separate listing in the device manager.You will notice a solid light beside the wireless icon when switch is ON.
