Solve : dell inspiron 1545 laptop wont connect to the internet?

I dont know why, the icon in the status BAR keeps saying identifying and just stays that way

I cant even CONNECT through the ethernet PORT, same thing, says identifying

what is the microsoft6to4 network adapter.  do i need it and if so how can i reinstall it, cause I DELETED it by MISTAKE
