Answer» I've had this Dell Mini 10v for about 4 months now, and up until about a week ago, when I got the new iPod nano and reinstalled iTunes. Ever since then my computer refuses to run more than five MINUTES when I'm watching a video, or playing Runescape; pretty much anything that moves on the screen will crash it. The crashes are either BSOD, or my whole computer will stop any play an annoying noise and refuse to work. If it doesn't do that, it'll freeze and repeat any audio that was playing at the time in a never ending loop. But if neither of those, it will go BSOD. The types of BSODs will either be one of the three 1. It says no error message at the top 2. kernel thread terminated while holding a mutex 3. driver_irql_not_less_or_equal
I've done all I can when it comes to fixing these, I've Googled them and done my best to follow the instructions, I've downloaded CC cleaner done registry fixes, I've tried to use Avira Antivrus (I never had an anti virus until then, but it didn't pick up any viruses anyways), and I've defragmented the hard drive. This is my last resort I have no idea what to do anymore, I'm pretty sure these crashes have come from the iPod, but I don't really know. I will post any error reports I get in the future, and I will post logs from any PROGRAMS you guys request so please help me.

I don't want take wild guesses, but from my search, it looks like some hardware problem, integrated video chip, or RAM. Since the netbook is 4 months old, I'd call Dell.Ditto...Well the laptop is past it's 90 day warranty so they won't do anything. I'm thinking about getting a USB CD drive and overwriting this file ( ntoskrnl.exe ) with the Windows recovery CD. Also, I got a different BSOD here's the reports from them

So if you guys know if this will work or not please tell me, or give me some other advice. Only a 90 day warranty ? ? Most laptops/netbooks carry a minimum 1 Year warranty.Nope just a 90 day warranty. Do you have any ideas on what to do, or do you know if what I'm going to try will work?Something is being left out here... From the Dell Site:
Quote Hardware Support Services 1 Year Basic Mail-In Service Plan
Never heard of 90 days warranty...The store (BestBuy/FutureShop for example) you bought it from may have had a 90 day warranty. But Dell's warranty is 1 year. Call them.
