Answer» I have tried fixing this for a week by myself, but it's just not getting anywhere.
My sister has a Dell DIMENSION 3100 desktop computer that BADLY needed reformatting. I did, and then went on the official Dell website from my computeR to download the needed DRIVERS (video, ethernet, etc...). I then put the drivers on a USB key, transfered them to my sister's computer, and installed them (My sister lost the original CD that came with her computer). However, it didn't seem to have done anything! No Internet whatsoever and can't OPEN much of the stuff because we get some kind of video card driver problem error message.
If any of you could help out, it would be greatly appreciated! Revisit the Dell site and enter her SERVICE Tag #.... Those will be the correct drivers. MBoard chipset drivers go FIRST.
