Answer» Hi,
newbie needing some help trying to depersonalize file info ... using WINDOWS XP
example ...
C:\Documents and SETTINGS\ MY NAME HERE\My Documents\My Pictures\th_necklacevalo_queen.gif
cheers ...I am not clear what you are really trying to accomplish and why. :-?I want my personal details, (IE my full name), removed from any files that I upload to the web ... ie on journals etc ...
I've just updated my computer and now have Windows XP ... when I had Windows 98 an uploaded file would look LIKE this ...
C:\My Documents\My Pictures\th_necklacevalo_queen.gif
in XP it looks like this ...
C:\Documents and Settings\ MY NAME HERE\My Documents\My Pictures\th_necklacevalo_queen.gif
I want to remove my name from the file because I don't want my personal details visible ... is this possible?
Why don't you just create a folder called Documents off the C Drive itself, store your stuff there and uploading will have no personal touches then?excellent ... thank you so much for your help
cheers :0)I never taunt but I have too NEWBIE
Quote I never taunt but I have too NEWBIE
