Answer» I had my desktop hjacked by an adware file. I ran the noadware scan and removed the file, however I still can't get a normal backgroud picture. Any Ideas?/ When I look at the properties of desk top background, it lists this (file://C:\WINDOWS\warnhp.html) It keeps the background from showing up as it is COMPLETELY WHITE. when I shut down, right before it shuts down the corect background shows up for a second, so it is there, just underneath the file's screen. Also when I search for this file, it SAYS it does not exist. I would GLADLY accept any suggestions.It should be easy enough to find. Could you please download HijackThis, run it on the infected PC, save the logfile, zip it with WinZip, and attach the zip file to your NEXT post? We'll be able to take a look and suggest fixes from there.
