Answer» where are my desktop images? I have recently I discovered that all my desktop images are gone! All I can do now is to USE a lifeless colour background, ususally BLUE. This makes my desktop LOOKS very depresing. Any IDEA to what might had happened and how can I recover the images? the operating system is Windows XP. thank you in anticipation. How long AGO did it happen? Did you try System Restore?
