Solve : Desktop Wiped? |

Answer» My entire log-in wiped, not anything on the harddrive so nothing bad was gone. The desktop and SHORTCUTS and everything had reset to default. I did a massive ASSIGNMENT on it last night and when I logged on today it's back to normal. I thought this was good but everything I did last night is gone!!! Does anybody know where it would have saved to??? Really need it!!! Alan <>< Is it possible you accidentally logged in last night as a different user [as a guest, for instance]? This could have presented a default desktop. Your WORK would probably still be on that desktop or in that documents folder instead of your own. I've already checked to make sure I wasnt on guest. I managed to get my assignment back (went into previous versions on the documents properties) but now all my documents are gone. STUFF like "my pictures" and "my MUSIC" etc. My shortcuts are all gone aswell. |
