Answer» I'm a new MEMBER with a problem that I couldn't figure out how to solve it myself. When I TRY to start my computer ( win 98 with intl pentium IV) the following errror appears : "while initializing device VKB: window protect..." . The monitor stays blank and the cursor doesn't move either. If VKB means the keyboard or the vedio card. I switched both devices, still the same error. It doesn't even start in SAFEMODE. Googled and came up with Virtual Bluetooth Keyboard. Did you replace the keyboard with another VBK or PS/2 board? Sounds like a wipe and reinstall. Have you backed up all your data?
