I need help fixing my computer,my cd-rom DRIVES don't work at all and I get a device manager error code 31, and I can't figure out how to fix.Devive manager said to look in properties but I didnt see anything. Will information from my computer. Thank you.

Wow, you GOT all that stuff using IRQ 9? This is a Win98 machine? Have you updated the drivers? From what I understand, this code reports a problem with the device not working because it depends on another device that is probably not working. With the two drives throwing errors, I would be concerned it is the IDE controller. Could be a ribbon cable maybe. Need more info: AGE, ram, cpu, OS, ETC.
