Answer» I have an E-machine T3612 that was ORIGINALLY running Vista Home basic. I downgraded to XP but now my modem and sound card do not work. It appears that XP is not recognizing the drivers. Does this mean I either have to reinstall Vista or purchase new devices that are compatible with XP? Any help would be greatly appreicated. As for your computer, you have Intel chipset, so if you go to Intel site:
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx
you'll FIND some of your drivers:
#3 - your Ethernet card
#6 - video/graphics
#10 (I believe) - audio

You may also get:
