Solve : different respond from using different Ram?

1.	Solve : different respond from using different Ram?
Answer» recently I found out that when i use my 1GB ddr winchip ram my computer will not be ABLE to restart. however when i use kingston ddr 512mb ddr ram my computer will be able to restart and acts perectly normal..what COULD be the problem?Possibly bad memory. Are there any beeps or KINDS of messages? Can't really diagnose a problem without full DETAILS, including full system specs.
