Answer» I have a GATEWAY laptop with a Dual Core processor and 1 gig of memory. I am atempting to upgrade from Windows VISTA Home edition to Windowa 7 Ultimate.I have attempted the upgrade path anf the clean install path both with the same result.Windows cannot verify the digital SIGNATURE for this file. File \windows\system32\winload.exe status: 0xc0000428 The SYSTEM will not allow me to temporarily disable driver signature enforcement. I have TRIED with the following commands and but pressing f8. Bcdedit.exe /set nointegritychecks ON bcdedit.exe /set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS bcdedit.exe /set TESTSIGNING ON The system just boots with the same error.
