Solve : Disabled Device on "Manage Hardware and Sound"? |

Answer» SORT of a BEGINNER here....I was having trouble getting HDMI sound to play through my TV (Windows 7). In the control panel, under "MANAGE Hardware and Sound", I "disabled" the TV as a device while trying to correct the problem, and now I do not know where to find the TV or how to re-enable it. It no longer shows up as a device....just my computer speakers and headphones.Follow this sequence.....start-->control panel-->sound-->playback-->select the device where U want the sound to be heard and select as default then ok. You will see the hdmi port of your graphics card, not the TV. |
