Answer» I am running a home LAN connecation between two PC's . PC_1 has "easy CAFE" installed on it monitoring PC_2 which is logging in to the internet through PC_1. Is there anyway for PC_2 to go "off-grid" from easy cafe and still use the internet? thanks COULD you give us the specs please? especially the OS of your stations..The computer that is directly connected to the internet will need to be turned on in order for, your second computer to access the internet. am SRY , it seems i didnt make it clear enough .. PC_1 is already up and running , PC_2 is hooked to PC_1 through LAN , and is gaining access to the internet through PC_1 .so PC_2 is never connected by itself to the internet , what i only want is to stay connected to PC_1 and the internet BUT witout being monitored by easy cafe which is installed on PC_1. btw , both PCs are running XP SP2.Disable Easy Cafe' on PC 1 if you don't want it monitoring...
