Alright,  so I am trying to mess with some DLL files on the WINDOWS cd.   However,  MS decided to take it upon themselves to turn the DLL files into    .DL_  compressed DLL files.

Does anyone KNOW how to, or of a program that can compress DLL files to .DL_ files?

Use mscompress.exe utility.

For PUTTING compress files on diskette, like windows 3.1 installing diskette.
