Answer» Hey Guys, I recently installed windowsXP home EDITION on my pc, the installation went well but as soon as my pc rebooted I SWITCHED my bios to boot from hard disk and I got this message: Boot from CD: Boot from CD: DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER Now when I put in the cd and changed my bios BACK to boot from cd, it loads windows fine and I do everything I need to do, but there has to be away for my pc to boot from the hard disk RIGHT? I have 2 hard drives on my pc and the boot PRIORITY is set to boot from the correct hard drive but still no luck. Any help with this situation would greatly be appreciatedDisconnect the second hard drive until you get this sorted out.will disconnecting my other hard drive do anything to the data on it?Protect it, but that is all.thanks GX1_Man, I will try that as soon as I get home.I disconnected my hard drive and no luck :-?
I'm slowly running out of patience
