Answer» I recently installed itunes and music but put it all on my D drive on my laptop. However, since then, my C drive is saying its out of space. I cannot uninstall programs with Add/ REMOVE programs b/c it says I don't have enough space... (obviously...that's why I'm trying to delete...) I tried all of the suggestions found on this site (system restore options, hibernate, defrag, compress, etc) and I freed up a tiny bit but still won't allow me to delete programs. The thing is, when looking through the installed programs, anything that uses a LOT of space is in the D drive, so I am not sure how I am out of space. Can I have a virus? I fixed the problem. It seems I had my Adobe software on both the C and D drive...when I deleted it from C, it freed up half of the disk space. I also lost my itunes and all my music DISAPPEARED but I can transfer that again now that I have space. thank you all for your responses. Can you confirm that all your music is on D Drive.

Also, Download and install CCleaner
Once installed, make sure you check the following boxes:
Internet Explorer --> Temporary Files
Mozilla Firefox (if you have it) --> Internet Cache
System --> Temporary Files

That will clean your computer of unnecessary files.

There is an option to have iTunes manage your library and keep all of the music in one folder, but maybe he meant the files are still there and he / iTunes can't find them now.
