Solve : Display adapter message?? |

Answer» Hi,i am running Windows 98.Today a message appeared saying`If you can read this message, Windows has successfully initialized this display ADAPTER`.This message was on a black, blank background so i couldn`t SEE my normal desktop. I can`t seem to start it in safe mode either.When i tried by pressing F8 or Delete there was a ringing sound from inside the tower.Any one know what COULD be wrong?,thanks,Slim...Have you recently disconnected and re-connected your monitor? Or, made any other changes to your system?Hi,YES i recently put my pc away as we moved houseLook closely at the BACK of your computer. Do you see two monitor connectors? Do you know whether the computer has both onboard video and an add-on video card installed? |
