Solve : Display Driver Errors?

Answer»

I'm using a brand new Dell Inspiron 1545 windows 7 LAP top. Frequently, while I'm using it the screen flashes on and off and my windows open and close, then I get a POP up in the bottom RIGHT corner that says "display driver has stopped responding but has recovered." Sometimes the issue resolves itself, and i can continue using it after a few seconds (5-10) of flashing. Other times, My computer freezes and I have to reboot. A lot of times the issue happens right when i log in. The issue also happens while im using my computer. ANy help would be appreciated. Thank youIt MAYBE a problem with video chip itself.
Since it's a laptop, it could be a serious issue, since it can't be cheaply replaced.

Return it.Couldn't i just reinstall the driver? You can surely try. It won't hurt, but if it doesn't help....and how would i do that? if i have the driver disc. Im not sure what to do thoughYou go to Dell site. Enter your laptop service tag number and all drivers will be there (you can post your computer service tag number back here and we'll help you with that).
Download video driver.
Go to Device Manager, uninstall existing driver and install new one.Yeah you were right it didnt work. Well, you MUST call Dell then.
