Solve : displays running together? |

Answer» I'm running Windows Vista 7 and today the print/text is running together and repeating endless times all on top of each other, almost to the point of solid blocks rather than print. Sometimes it SHOWS up that way when I click on an e-mail or web site, all of the time it happens when I scroll down. Sometimes it clears up by itself but not all the time.1. There is no such thing as Windows Vista 7. It's either Windows Vista or Windows 7. Dell Service Tag 7T21XG1Is Win7 32-bit or 64-bit? Dell Service Tag 7T21XG1 System Configuration Looks like 2G of RAM with onboard video which uses some of the 2GB RAM for the video. Things to check for: 1. Reinstall video driver. DOWNLOAD & install from 1st link provided. 2. Overheating. Get the right version for your OS (32 or 64) http://www.hwinfo.com/. Monitor the temps while using. 3. Best to open the case & look for dust build-up on the CPU FAN, etc. 4. If temps OK, test the RAM with MemTest. http://www.memtest.org/Thanks very much - will try all.You probably should read through the Dell™ XPS™ 210 Service Manual to see how to remove the cover. You can view it online or download and print it out. BTW, Dell does not list the OS shipped. It was shipped 7/28/2008. You will have to get the proper graphics driver for Win7, either 32 or 64. It won't be on the Dell link, will have to get it from Intel.
