Answer» I have an HP Pavillion dv1000. I started having problems with it a few days ago when Windows Media Player stopped playing sound and my AIM gave me a message that ORDINAL 6 in the DSOUND.dll couldnt be found. So I install a new DSOUND.dll FILE and now Im getting a message saying "DllRegister Server entry point was not found." This is affecting everything on my computer that has to do with sound. iTunes, AIM, Windows Media Player, and QuickTime to name a few. Any help WOULD be appreciated.Ok, when I open Quick Time or iTunes i get this message. "The procedure entry point OpenVxDHandle could not be located in the dynamic link LIBRARY KERNEL32.dll." Just some more info into this problem. It also says that Quick Time cannot be found even after I reinstall it.Reinstall soundcard drivers |
