Answer» Ok, I was told by one of my brothers friend that these settings were incorrect when I showed him on AIM. Now I'm not SURE if he's correct or not so I took a snapshot and came here to see.
Is there anything I should change?Always a contraversial subject. How much physical ram do you have? Most people say to set it at 1½ times your physical ram or just let WINDOWS manage it.If enough physical memory is present, the swapfile can be disabled altogether. You can experiment with settings for the swap file, even making a partition/reserving a drive solely for it if you like. However, in most average systems, swapfile settings, unless extreme, MAKE little overall DIFFERENCE and it's best just to leave them Windows managed (Win9x excluded) .
There are some ADJUSTMENTS that need to be made in some cases where Win9x and over 512M of physical memory is present.I'm pretty sure I have 128 MB RAM.I'm pretty sure you will be OK unless you have a problem.
