Answer» Unlock the Task Bar and look for any of those vertical dotted lines to the left of the minimized window. CLICK and drag it to the right to, say, the middle of the task bar, and up to the same level as the quick-launch icons.
now I have no dotted linesRight Click the Task Bar and click Lock the TaskBarSorry I missed that.I must be getting tired,FRUSTRATED or both. Is there anything else we can try.I did manage to drag the to part of the bar where the icons are but could do no more. ThanksYou need to make one of the bars smaller before you can drag it bown. Just keep dragging stuff till it fits again, trial & error. You're BETTER off setting your Windows theme to Windows classic, to me it's always been easier to get control of the taskbar that way WITHOUT the annoying colours.
I recall it being quite a feat for me to get the taskbar back to its original POSITION when I accidentally made it stick to the right or left side of the screen when I first used Windows 95... thanks for that its now back to the right size.Once again thanks to all who have helped TerryNow lock it. Nice job, tedder Good Job.
