Ideally where should I mean the location or folder drivers from net be downloaded, I have Windows 98SE & Windows XP on seperate partitions.

Prakash DaneUsually, you'll download the driver in a zipped file to your desktop...

You have two OPERATING systems...so depending on which operating system you've booted into..you'll download the RESPECTIVE driver to the desktop of the operating system you are CURRENTLY using...double-click the zipped driver file to begin extraction and it should extract itself to the appropriate directory. If not you can specify where you want to extract the driver to by using the following based on the operating system you are using. When you install or update the driver, you can specify where the file is by using the following:

For Windows 98 it will most likely be Windows/system/drivers

For Windows XP it will most likely be Windows/system32/drivers

I hope you found this information useful...In ADDITION to the above, larger drivers are supplied as an executable program file.
Just double click it to begin the install process.
