Answer» Hi --
We bought an EXTERNAL hard drive, and while safely detaching a flash drive from the FRONT of the computer, I accidentally detached the hard drive. This however is not the problem. All the programs and music that's on our iTunes was stored there, and when I plugged it back in, instead of REVERTING back to E:\ it turned into G:\ and the programs and music have "disappeared" from the computer in a way.
Can someone help on how I can CHANGE the G:\ back into E:\ so everything works again and our family can avoid the heartache?
Thanks.Hi - welcome to the CH forums.
Please post your system specs, Operating System, HARDWARE setup etc.
What happens when you reboot Go to Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Computer Management, Disk Management, right click on the external hard drive, select Change Drive Letter and Paths, and change the drive letter. Let us know if that works.
