Solve : Driver problem and kstvtune.ax? |
|
Answer» Hello Hello Jason ALOT of jasons linx for help unfortunately produce those results...Thanks for the link Allan. that link allows me to reinstall DIRECT X which I have done, but on restarting I STILL get that message - please see attachment, PLUS I still have that yellow exclamation mark in Device Manager. So the driver still hasn't been installed and repairing/reinstalling Direct X doesn't seem to have resolved the problem. If so, upgrade to sp3 and let's see what happens. You may need to borrow an XP Pro CD...Hello patio It is XP home that I am trying to resolve the problem on. I am in the process of downloading SP3 - not sure why it wasn't done automatically when Windows Update is on - but I am told that 'set up cannot copy the file mswstr10.dll. I am attaching a shot. The file mswstr10.dll is PRESENT in my system32 folder, but Windows doesn't seem to be able to copy it, so for the time being installing SP3 is on hold.
