I recently bough Dell computer it has vista loaded and i dont want vista..i m trying to install xp home. when i m INSERTING xp home cd and trying to install its not gaving me install option into cd its disabled.(by vista)
i m trying to BOOT by that xp home cd computer not booting with that its DIRECTLY GOT me into vista. and i didnt received any bootdisk so any suggest how i can create bootdisk ? OR how i can install a xphome into my computer ?
Thanks.There is no guarantee that drivers are available for your hardware under XP. Have you confirmed that XP drivers are available
You could opt to DUAL boot Vista/XP then revert to Vista if XP proves problematical. Here are are one of many step-by-step instruction sites on the WWW.
