Have you changed the bootup options for dual boot in the system properties dialog box in the control panel?

This option will not show up until after he has setup a dual boot system...

VistaBoot Pro

patio,

I just downloaded the VistaBoot, How i set it up and configure it? Or do i just run the setup.exe file?I just tried running VistaBoot Pro that went good then i restarted my PC. Nothing at all no boot screen to choose what OS's i want.look in advanced system settings, for windows bootup or startup. There should be a drop down menu that says all the operating systems that you have installed on your computer. Select dual bootI would SUGGEST reading the Help files for VistaBootPro...as i stated i have not used it but it CAME highly recommended...
WORST case scenario would be to START over.Quote from: programming_pat on September 11, 2007, 04:53:17 PM

I only see the tabs for the following.

Computer Name
Hardware
Advanced
System Protection
RemoteQuote from: programming_pat on September 11, 2007, 04:53:17 PM

I didn't see or don't see boot up or startup.I was explaining to programming pat that until you have successfully setup a dual=boot system that option will not appear where he said it was...
Have the VistaBoot Pro Help files been of any assistance ? ?

I did this with the first RC of Vista when it first came out and it worked fine for me without VB Pro...

Something has been missed.go to advanced system settings. then select strtup and recoveryQuote from: programming_pat on September 13, 2007, 09:29:01 PM
go to advanced system settings. then select strtup and RECOVERY

I just use Virtual PC. How do i use it? I am not wasting time. There was only one OS listed in startup and recovery so i completely removed DOS. I don't know why this isn't working for me.I don't either.
As i said it worked fine for me with DOS 6.2 and an RC release of Vista...
Sorry it didn't work out for you.
