Answer» I have two Vista partitions. The OS selection screen shows both as "Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium". Is there a way to rename these to more easily IDENTIFY which partition is which?I found the partition NAME in boot.ini vista does not have boot.ini, I thought. You're correct. At the TIME I was troubleshooting, I was at work on an XP machine and totally forgot about vista not having boot.ini - I eventually just downloaded EASYBCD. Worked like a charm!
